There are 2 kinds of people: those who are good at being in love, and those who are good at loving! It might sound a little weird to you, but do you even know the difference between “being in love” and “to love someone”?

Being in love is the romantic part at the beginning of your relationship (long conversations without breaks, separation anxiety, sex all the time and everywhere etc.)! In other words, you are in love with the positivity of your partner.

But love… love begins where the “excitement ends”, that means when you have to face the stress in your couple, the tears, the arguments and so on!

When you adore your partner through all these situations, well… that’s what you call love!

I'll go for both: being in love and true love :)

But sometimes love can go wrong! When you partner hurts you intentionally, disrespects you and does not appreciate your actions, then he is not the right one for you! Then he/she is just tolerating your presence and hoping for some personal advantages. A person who has been hurt several times becomes more careful in every other relationship! That means that this person will have a high level of self-protection because she/he might be afraid of being hurt…again! If you want to break the chains of this self-induced anxiety, give your partner the protection she/he needs no matter how much patience it requires.

To everyone with trust issues…you are not alone! There are people all around the world who feel the same way as you do. They’re missing somebody. They have secrets. They wish, dream and hope for a better future. They are like you and you could tell them everything and they would understand. So you see, even if you think you are alone with your fears and thoughts, it is not the case! There are millions like you! Even if most of us are self-centered (and this is normal) they don’t think about others. They just want to improve their own situation!  But just for now, say to yourself that someday, you will find someone who will understand all your fears, trust issues and hopes and you will feel comfortable by telling him everything that bothers you.

If you have the intention to break the trust of your girlfriend/boyfriend, be conscious that this won’t be fixed again in a minute. Remind yourself that she/he is not stupid enough to forget everything that happened. It all depends on the fact how deeply you hurt her/his feelings! So pay attention and don’t play with other people’s feelings.

Don’t forget that in the end, YOU are the one who can change something! Trust yourself and your own feelings. Don’t be afraid to take chances.

A good partner balances things out, knows when to push you and understands that patience is a virtue. Sometimes people want to rush things and sometimes people will wait that things happen naturally. A great partner challenges you.

And now a little note for all the Men outside: A real woman isn’t perfect but she is definitely worth your effort and sometimes even her faults will motivate you to love her even more! Shawn Steward said that a real woman could be a treasure if you treat her right.

Hello my lovely Val-mily,

A really intelligent person once said: "pain doesn't tell you when you ought to stop! Pain is the little voice in your head that tries to hold you back because it knows if you continue, you will change! Don't let it stop you from being who you can be! Exhaustion tells you when you're ought to stop! You only reach your limit when you can go no further"! And this person was totally right because we need to stop holding ourselves back! If we want to make a change, we have to do something to achieve it, because you won't get a nice ass by only sitting on it! Work for it! I noticed that a lot of women are trying to be skinny but honestly I prefer being fit, because it's better to be a badass instead of a toothpick! Being fit is really important for your mental and physical health, so keep pushing! 

As I noticed that a lot of you are hitting the Gym and some of you had questions about the new Basic Fit in Belval/Luxembourg, I wanted to show you how amazing this Gym really is! 

• The subscription is really cheap compared to every other Gym here in Luxembourg! You can choose between paying immediately for a whole year (239,40 Euros) or month by month for 1 year (20,95 Euros/Month)!

Strong(WO)MAN 2014

Hello people :)

Yesterday I went to the Fisherman's Strongman Run (Differdange/Luxembourg)! 

Unfortunately I was not allowed to participate due to tendon-issues! My doctor said my foot wasn't strong enough for such a distance! But hopefully next year will be MY year (I just pre-registered for 2015, so i will keep my fingers crossed that everything will be fine till next year)! 

My boyfriend and his firefighter department (and some other departments too) were responsible for the security of the runners, so I just went there to "visit" him (like good Girlfriends do lol) and to see some friends! 

I have deep respect for all the Finishers!! 22 km aren't short at all!! And in combination with all the obstacles... Aiaiai :D I think I'm going to have some height-issues... Everything is sooooo high or soooo deep that I won't be able to pull myself up or I will simply sink in the dirt-water-pool!! XD

MOTIVATION is everything!! In a few weeks or months, I will write a post about it... Just to increase or keep the level of motivation for everyone who wants to participate next year! :D

Wedding Bells

Hello people!

Last Sunday, I went to the “Lux Wedding Experience” (www.luxwedding.lu) with one of my best friends. As she is getting married in 2016, and as I am one of her bridesmaids (*proud*), we wanted to visit this place, because there is nothing bad about getting some new ideas!

We met a lot of interesting people.

I LOVE CAKEBOX!! (www.cakebox.lu) This has to be said! I love their super duper beautiful cakes! They taste DELICIOUS! We had the amazing opportunity to try the chocolate-cream cheesecake, and guys…I ate 2 big slices…I couldn’t resist! …I think that says enough about the taste :D

Cool guy and awesome cocktails! Your Bartender! 

Valéry MENDES (www.yourbartender.lu) got this awesome idea to offer people the best cocktails for every occasion possible: weddings, private parties, birthdays etc. As we had the possibility to taste them, the only thing I can say is…AWESOME!

He is a very cool and open-minded guy! If you want to make your party a little bit more special, he is your man.

Sylvain JUZAN, the Magician:

She is one amazing Make-up artist! We had the opportunity to try out some make-up styles: my friend Ana got a simple nude make-up (as she is not someone who likes make-up, this was a big deal for her) and I got some really badass Smokey Eyes. We were both really satisfied. Valentina is a very nice and sweet person.

What a beautiful interior! 

Project Manager Dominique SOARES FONESCA (www.luxzelte.lu ) told us that they are working on an international base (but you have to pay for the transport, which is really plausible and fair if you are organizing you wedding in another country). They are not only responsible for the tent but also for the equipment (chairs, decoration etc.). I was very pleased by this one stylish interior you see in the picture!

Really nice cars and some awesome busses!

If you want to rent some historical/old cars for your event (weddings, party events, trips), then visit www.oldtimerbus.lu. They have some really special cars and busses! Personnaly I think that every wedding needs an oltimer! It's simply an eye-catcher!

Sometimes we do things we wish we had never done and sometimes we wish we could repeat them. But in the end, all those things determine who we are and form our personality. It’s your personality; so don’t let others judge over you. Don’t worry what they say behind your back. Those people will always find problems and faults in YOUR life instead of fixing their own.

What people are not aware of is that all rumors they heard about me are as true as the rumors they hear about themselves. I just don’t get how people can spread all these lies? Do you really have such a pitiful and sad life that you have to be more concerned about my life than you own? It’s like “oooh c’mon let’s spread gossips about XY because my own life is so boring and miserable that I need to lift my own self-confidence by putting others down”.

Probably they don’t like you because deep inside they know that you are better then them, and they don’t know how to deal with the person you have become and what you’re up to.

Jealousy must be something really bad. For me, jealousy is a fear of not having any self-value. Than, there is ignorance. Ignorance is always followed by stupidity! Stupidity grows while you spread rumors and think that if you tell lies about me you will become a better person! Sorry honey, but I have to disappoint you! Awful people will stay awful! Learn that you have to talk TO people instead of ABOUT people! You are what comes out of your mouth, so don’t be crap.

A smart guy once said that rumors are as foolish as the people who create them and as fake as those who spread them! Don’t listen to only one side of the story, don’t rush, and don’t judge immediately without knowing the other side.

Self-value is an important thing! If you cannot love yourself you will always think that it is your fault, and that others are right about you… you will doubt yourself even though you know they lie. Build a strong self-esteem, a security defense system and be the one they envy! Envying someone is brutal for some people and because they don’t want to accept the fact that you ARE better than them, they will try to pull you down! Don’t give them the possibility to do this!

I learned that I have to be strong enough to get over those lies and rumors, of course they cause me frustration and pain but I have more pity for those who are not able to accept themselves! Adult people with children and a house… but dumb as a penguin. Living a life where I am their most popular topic gives me a higher value then they give themselves. It’s kind of miserable if your life is guided by jealousy and lies!

I hope for you that one day you will be able to move beyond this childish behavior, for the sake of all!

To all those people who are unsatisfied with their own depressive life and feel the need to blame others for this: are you even aware of what you are doing to those people? Only because your life isn’t going the way you want it to go, you are extinguishing friendships and relationships!?! Poor human!!

Because of your unhappiness and downheartedness people suffer!! Let me tell you one thing: You are just a bunch of miserable creatures!!! No matter how badly people will treat you, be careful to never drop down to their level! Know and always remember that YOU are better than them!
